1. Parties & Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and VARTANA (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED ("JobMate," "we," "us," or "our"), the operator of the JobMate platform accessible at jobmate.mcpdns.org and its subdomains.
By creating an account, clicking "Sign in with Google," using any JobMate portal, or accessing any JobMate service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use JobMate.
2. Service Description
JobMate is an AI-powered career workflow automation platform that provides:
- Apply Portal (
apply.jobmate.mcpdns.org): Automated LinkedIn job discovery, AI CV tailoring, and job application submission via browser automation.
- Concierge Portal (
concierge.jobmate.mcpdns.org): All Apply features plus Gmail tracking (read-only email synchronization to detect interview invitations, rejections, and offer letters), priority support, and advanced automation.
- Core Features: CV parsing, AI resume tailoring, job scoring & matching, application tracker, Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) review, and a credential vault for portal logins.
JobMate does not guarantee job placements, interview invitations, application acceptance, or successful submission on every third-party job portal. Results depend on factors outside our control including employer decisions, portal changes, and anti-automation measures.
3. Eligibility & Account
- You must be at least 18 years of age to use JobMate.
- You must provide truthful information during account creation. Fake accounts are prohibited.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including automation runs triggered by your credentials.
- You must not share your account, login session, or LinkedIn credentials with third parties.
- One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits is prohibited and will result in permanent ban.
4. Subscription Plans & Billing
4.1 Plans
JobMate offers subscription plans with monthly or one-time pricing. Specific plan details, feature limits, and pricing are available on our Pricing page and may change with 14 days' notice.
4.2 Payment Processing
Payments are processed by Razorpay. By purchasing a plan, you agree to Razorpay's Terms of Service. JobMate does not store your card data.
4.3 Subscription Renewal
Monthly subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You will receive an email reminder 3 days before renewal.
4.4 Plan Credits
Feature credits (e.g., CV tailoring runs, application attempts) are allocated per plan per billing cycle. Unused credits do not roll over to the next period unless explicitly stated.

5. Refund Policy
5.1 Eligibility
You may request a refund within 7 days of initial purchase if:
- You experienced a critical technical failure that prevented JobMate from functioning (e.g., automation never started).
- You have consumed fewer than 20% of your plan's feature credits.
- Your request is submitted through the in-app Refund Request form at
/api/billing/refund-request.
5.2 Non-Refundable Cases
- Requests made after 7 days of purchase.
- Plans where more than 20% of credits have been consumed.
- Cases where the automation ran successfully but the employer did not respond.
- Add-on credit packs (once any credit from the pack is consumed).
- Subscription renewals where you failed to cancel before the renewal date.
5.3 Processing
Approved refunds are processed via Razorpay within 5–7 business days to your original payment method. Your plan will be downgraded to the Free tier upon refund approval.

6. Automation & Third-Party Portals
6.1 Authorized Use
You authorize JobMate to act as your agent and use browser automation to interact with job portals (LinkedIn, company career sites, ATS portals) on your behalf, using the credentials and preferences you provide.
6.2 Third-Party Portal Terms
You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of JobMate complies with the terms of service of third-party platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Workday, Greenhouse). JobMate is not responsible for actions taken by third-party platforms, including account restrictions or bans.
6.3 LinkedIn Automation Limitations
- JobMate uses human-like browsing patterns, randomized delays, and stealth techniques to minimize detection.
- LinkedIn may change its platform at any time, which could temporarily disrupt automation.
- JobMate's daily automation limit is capped per your plan. We recommend not running automation for more than 4 hours per day to minimize LinkedIn detection risk.
6.4 Credential Vault
Portal login credentials you provide are encrypted using AES-256 encryption before storage. No plaintext passwords are stored. However, you are responsible for the passwords you provide; we cannot be held liable for password leaks originating from third-party portals themselves.
6.5 Human-in-the-Loop (HITL)
Some job applications may require human intervention (e.g., OTPs, CAPTCHAs, mandatory test questions). JobMate will pause and notify you in such cases. Applications left unresolved in HITL state for more than 2 hours will be marked as requiring manual review and will not consume additional automation credits.
7. AI-Generated Content
- JobMate uses Large Language Models (including OpenAI GPT models) to tailor your CV and generate application content.
- You must review all AI-generated content before it is submitted. JobMate provides a review step for this purpose.
- You are responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of all content submitted in job applications. Submitting fabricated experience, fake qualifications, or misrepresented skills is your sole responsibility and may constitute fraud.
- JobMate's AI will not fabricate employment history, credentials, or qualifications. It only restructures and emphasizes information present in your original CV.
- AI-generated content is not copyrighted by JobMate. You own the tailored CVs generated from your original material.
8. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use JobMate to:
- Submit applications for positions you are legally prohibited from holding.
- Apply to more jobs per day than your plan permits, or circumvent credit limits.
- Use the service to spam employers or recruiters with applications for roles you have no intention of pursuing.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract proprietary data from the JobMate platform.
- Provide fraudulent, fabricated, or misleading CV content or credentials.
- Create multiple accounts to gain free plan credits beyond what is permitted.
- Interfere with JobMate's infrastructure, including automation pipelines, SQS queues, or AWS services.
- Use JobMate in a way that violates any applicable law including employment law, data protection law, or computer fraud law.
Violation of this section may result in immediate account suspension without refund.
9. Data, Privacy & Google API
Our full data practices are described in the Privacy Policy. Key points:
- JobMate's use of Google user data is limited to providing in-app features. We do not use Google data for advertising, AI model training, or credit scoring.
- Gmail access (read-only) is requested only for Concierge plan users who explicitly connect Gmail via the "Connect Gmail" feature. You may revoke this at any time.
- We comply with Google API Services User Data Policy including the Limited Use requirements.
- You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing pushkar.mishra.in@gmail.com.
JobMate's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the
Google API Services User Data Policy,
including the Limited Use requirements.
10. Intellectual Property
- The JobMate platform, codebase, design, brand, algorithms, and automation logic are the exclusive property of VARTANA (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED.
- Your CV content, uploaded documents, and job preferences remain your property. You grant JobMate a limited license to process this content solely to provide the service.
- JobMate grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service for personal job seeking during your active subscription.
11. Warranties & Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
- Warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.
- Warranty that automation will succeed on any specific job portal or application.
- Warranty of any employment outcome whatsoever.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, JOBMATE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
- Loss of employment opportunities, missed interviews, or career losses.
- LinkedIn or portal account restrictions resulting from automation.
- Third-party ATS, portal, or employer decisions.
- Any damages arising from force majeure events, including AWS outages, third-party API failures, or LinkedIn platform changes.
Our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to JobMate in the 3 months immediately preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JobMate, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms.
- Your submission of false or misleading application content.
- Your violation of any third-party platform terms (e.g., LinkedIn).
- Any claim by a third party that your use of JobMate caused harm.
14. Termination
- By You: You may cancel your account at any time from Account Settings. Your data will be retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted, unless you request earlier deletion.
- By JobMate: We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for: violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, abuse of the automation pipeline, or non-payment.
- Upon termination, your access to the service ceases immediately. Refunds for terminated accounts are at our discretion.
15. Dispute Resolution
Before initiating any formal proceedings, you agree to notify us of the dispute by emailing pushkar.mishra.in@gmail.com and allowing 30 days to resolve it informally.

16. Governing Law
